For several years now the WBG has been a leader in establishing short term and long term U.S. university programs for groups of Chinese business executives and government officials. We offer to the Chinese a full service, comprehensive program that not only involves university academic course work, but also arranges the international and domestic transportation necessary, temporary housing, weekend cultural and familiarization tours and any other activities requested and agreed upon.
Participating U.S. universities not only receive an agreed upon stipend for the course work provided, but also get the opportunity to broaden their horizons Eastward into mainland China. The personal and institutional relationships formed during these programs have tended to be long lasting and beneficial to both sides of the Pacific.
Some of the more recent programs implemented by the WBG are as follows:
Short Term Programs:
+Guangdong: 25 Real Estate Developers Training Class at Institute For Global Chinese Affairs, University of Maryland;
+Sichuan Province Foreign Language: 38 students 14 days summer camp visited top USA universities;
+Lingnan College SUN YAT-SEN University: 52 EMBA studied at Harvard Business School;
+China University of Mining And Technology: 41 teachers Seminar Conference at University of Minnesota;
+Chongqing University: nine professors visited Eastern University;
+China Education Association for International Exchange: five Graduate School Deans visited University of Columbia, Harvard University and MIT.
Long Term Programs:
+Advanced Public and Business Leadership Research and Development Program for Henan Province Executives for 26 weeks.
